image of a silver brooch

Phyllis W. Jacobs was educated at the Minneapolis School of Art. She was a sculptor as well as a jeweler. The Walker Biography of 1948 tells her receiving a “fellowship at Taliesin.” This probably referred to Taliesin West, which was the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, founded in 1932 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
