Sergio Bustamante is a Mexican sculptor and a jewelry designer.

While Bustamante’s early works focused on painting and paper mache, in the mid-1970s, he began to experiment with sculpture in wood and bronze, exploring animal themes. In the mid-1980s Bustamante worked in ceramics experimenting with color and form. In 1992, the artist began to produce jewelry in bronze, gold and silver, many set with precious and semi-precious stones and, again, often reflecting animal themes. In this same year, a new series of paper mache sculptures was introduced.

Each piece belongs to a limited edition and is created by hand.
