Exploring Canadian Studio Pottery

Collecting studio pottery is a tricky business largely due to the vagueness of stylized signatures underneath each piece, however, everyone needs to start learning somewhere and its a pretty good start when your first piece of modernist ceramic is a beautiful Harlander bowl! (true story).

Ineke studio pottery from Victoria BC in its typical yellow/green colour. A lot of Ineke pottery is botanical and may have been inspired by the vegetation that grew in the Butchart Gardens.
