Owe Johansson was a Swedish silversmith. Johansson began making jewelry in1965 in Sigtuna. He had his first breakthrough exhibit at the National Museum’s exhibition called “YOUNG SWEDISH SILVER” in 1968.

Owe Johansson is represented at the National Museum in Stockholm, Röhss Museum in Gothenburg, Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the National Art Collections in Prague, as well as in several private collections including King Gustaf VI Adolf and King Carl XVI Gustaf silver collections. He has received the National Art Award twice, and has been the recipient of several international awards .

Several of Owe Johansson’s pieces are featured in the 1970 book New Design in Jewelry by Donald J. Willcox.
